I was pointed to these discussions between Wanlov the Kubolor and Ghanaian/Nigerian author Ben Hinson. I found them very interesting. The discussion was on hip hop rap music in Ghana and the effect it has on Ghanaian youth through culture and other things. I liked some of the things they talked about, like the culture and stuff. I would like to know all your thoughts on the chit chat. You can see the article here:

shady business
13-06-09: Thanks for the hyperlink; enjoyable to read. Thanks to the internet, I am always disappointed with the lack of business acumen of today's musicians. For example instead of relying on dubious promoters, why don't artists promote themselves? And why can't I buy music directly from the artists, or why don't artists create their own record labels?
Thanks for posting
Thanks for posting, nice interview.
Wanlov is great and he's been doing well for himself. I know him personally and he's been selling his own music and promoting himself.
the destiny of a nation at any given time depends on the opinions and contributions of its young men and women.
