This has been going on for years I travel to Ghana a lot and at time i stay at hotels and the amount of time I have seen old European males with little boys from Ghana is sick, the hotels turn a blind eye and it a situation which should be made a top issue by the government in Ghana. I think all those visiting to do such acts should be trailed in the country where they committed their crimes this man should be in jail in Ghana.
This female blogger talks about it a lil bit more.
Hopefully, more of these cases will be brought to trial. The whole idea that some countries are labelled as sex tourism hot spots is wrong.
This quote from the BBC article strikes a nerve
"However, this legislation can only be exercised when the foreign country in question acknowledges child sexual abuse as a crime."
Is child sexual abuse a crime in Ghana ? I know rape is but what about the age thing ?
I am not sure, if it is not i guess people have to start making noise
